The Clyde Hill Police Department consists of the Chief, Lieutenant, six
commissioned officers, two reserve officers and a records clerk.
The Chief, William J. Archer, has been serving the citizens of Clyde Hill
and Yarrow Point since 1989 as Lieutenant, and became Chief in 1998.

The Records Specialist for the Police Department is Jessica Babbitt. Jessica
acts as the Office Manager for the Police Department, answering phone
calls, responding to questions, processing the police records and generally
supports the entire operations of the Department.
The Clyde Hill Police Department is committed to working closely with the
citizens of Clyde Hill and Yarrow Point, and to response to the needs and
desires of the community. The department also believes in working closely
with the people in the community by fostering a relationship of
trust, respect, and understanding.
The department's uses general patrolling in an effort to detect and deter crime. In conjunction with that effort, a heavy emphasis on traffic enforcement is provided, which improves the safety of the community and heightens police visibility. Additionally, bicycle Officers are deployed in ongoing efforts to detect criminal behavior, aughment ther traffic enforcement efforts, and increase interaction between community members and the police.
Other services provided by the Clyde Hill Police Department include
issuance of Concealed Pistol Licenses and fingerprinting when required by
employment, professional licensing or governmental requirements.
Additionally we offer house watches for the residents of Clyde Hill and
Yarrow Point while they are out of town.
