Electronics Recycling

E-Cycle Washington is a free program that provides responsible recycling of computers, monitors, TVs and e-readers in our state. Starting in 2009, electronics manufacturers in Washington took responsibility for safely recycling these products and in July 2011 the milestone of 100,000,000 pounds recycled was reached.

Hazardous Waste - Transfer Site

The Solid Waste Division (SWD) operates two facilities that accept household hazardous waste from residents, the Wastemobile and the Factoria Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Service. Wastes collected at these sites will be recycled or disposed of properly.

King County transfer stations are facilities where garbage hauling companies, businesses and King County residents can bring their waste. Drop Box facilities are smaller facilities where residents and businesses can bring a limited amount of waste. The waste is consolidated at these locations and then transported to the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill for disposal.

Unlike other utilities that serve Clyde Hill, CenturyLink does not receive its permission to provide service under a local franchise; it receives its authority from a pre-territorial grant to service the entire state. Electric and Gas

Clyde Hill receives its electric and gas services from Puget Sound Energy (PSE) through a franchise agreement that allows PSE to use the City rights-of way.

Most street lights are operated and maintained by PSE, with the City paying a monthly power and maintenance fee. Please report street light outages to PSE.

Before you report the outage please make note of the pole number. Most street light poles have a 12-digit grid number (numbering on metal tags). If no pole number is visible, note the street intersection or home address that is nearest to the pole.
